On the Spot Restoration was built on the foundation of hard work, family, and a genuine commitment to helping people through some of the most stressful moments of their lives.
What began as a father-and-son carpet cleaning and small water damage operation has grown into a professionally licensed, multi-truck restoration company trusted by some of Florida’s largest condominium and hospitality properties.
We serve homeowners, property managers, and businesses across Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns Counties with water, fire, and mold restoration, backed by 24/7 availability and a commitment to honest, high-quality work. Every job we take on, we approach with the same urgency and care we’d want for our own homes.

Our Journey
A Decade of Growth, Built on Trust
Pre-2016
Founded as a father-son operation providing carpet cleaning and entry-level water damage restoration throughout the Daytona Beach area.
2016
Robert Bell graduated from the University of Florida and married. He began dedicating himself full-time to growing the restoration business and establishing professional systems and standards.
2018
Robert obtained his Florida Mold Assessor License #MRSA2746 and Florida Mold Remediator License #MRSR2968, plus IICRC Master Certification in water restoration and mold remediation, and NORMI credentials. Robert assumed full operational leadership and expanded into full-service mold assessment and remediation.
2018–2020
Steady growth — building client relationships, refining processes, and establishing the company’s reputation for professionalism across Volusia and Flagler Counties.
2020–2022
A transformational leap: from one truck and fewer than 20 pieces of equipment to a multi-truck operation with 150+ pieces of drying equipment. Formal project management systems implemented.
2022–2024
Continued investment in education, team development, and process refinement. Company established as preferred vendor for multiple commercial and condominium properties, and trusted with large loss storm clean-ups.
2024–Present
Post-Hurricane Milton: 171-unit evaluation, 97-unit full dry-out, 800+ pieces of equipment, completed in 10 days. This was just one of many projects completed during this time. We are now pursuing statewide hospitality partnerships.

In 2016, Robert graduated from the University of Florida and got married, dedicating himself full-time to growing his family’s restoration business and building professional systems and standards. By 2018, he had earned his Florida Mold Assessor License #MRSA2746 and Florida Mold Remediator License #MRSR2968, IICRC Master Certifications in water restoration and mold remediation, and NORMI credentials — stepping into full operational leadership and expanding On the Spot Restoration into full-service mold assessment and remediation.

Stewart oversees day-to-day project management at On the Spot Restoration, keeping every job on track from first inspection to final walkthrough. He works closely with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters to make sure each restoration project runs smoothly and on schedule.
